The Petitioner's claim of belonging to the "Thakur", Scheduled Tribe category is tendered for validation recently on 09.11.2022. Her biological brother, namely, Krushna Santosh Pawar has received the validity certificate under the orders of this Court dated 30.07.2018 in Writ Petition No.7622/2018. 2.

This Writ Petition is, therefore, disposed off with the direction to the Committee to decide the claim of the Petitioner on or before 30.09.2023, in the light of the recent judgment delivered by the Honourable Supreme Court on 24.03.2023 in Maharashtra Adiwasi Thakur Jamat Swarakshan Samiti vs. The

The Petitioner would render wholehearted cooperation for the expeditious disposal of the claim and would refrain from seeking adjournments on unreasonable or trivial grounds, lest the Committee would be justified in progressing to the next stages in the proceeding.
