Petitioner has been seeking grant-in-aid. It appears that even earlier it had filed Writ Petition No. 1694 of 1993. By the order dated 11 March 1998, the Government was directed to consider the petitioner's request in the light of the Government Resolution dated 28.04.1989. Accordingly, the Government passed an order on 17.12.2011 granting the petitioner grant-in-aid from the academic year 2011-12.

The petitioner is now seeking a direction to the respondent no. 1 to consider its representation dated 16.03.2018 (Exh.'D'), which was received by the office of the respondent no. 1 on 18.04.2018 wherein it has claimed grants even for the period prior to 2011-12.

Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 1 to consider and take appropriate decision on the petitioner's application (Exh. 'D') as expeditiously as possible and in any case within four (04) months. If the application / proposal is not traceable in the office of respondent no. 1, (Exh.'D') shall be treated as representation.
