Heard learned counsel for the petitioners. Learned AGP submits that the petitioners have alternate remedy available of filing an appeal. In view of that we are not inclined to entertain the writ petitions on merits. Writ petitions are disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to avail alternate remedy of appeal.

For a period of 10 days, from today, status quo as on today be maintained so as to enable the petitioners to avail alternate remedy. 3.

Needless to state that after 10 days, the protection granted to the petitioners would not survive.
