We have heard Mr. Ambetkar learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGP for the State. 2.

Learned counsel submits that the promotion has been wrongly denied to the petitioner, though there are are vacant posts available.

The petitioner has remedy of appeal before the Authority under Rule 14(1)(b) of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishads District Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules. The writ petition disposed of with liberty to file avail alternate remedy. All contentions are kept open. No costs. 4.
