Mr.Nagargoje, learned counsel for the petitioners states that pursuant to the Government Resolution dated 15.3.1993, the petitioners by virtue of running a fair price shop were entitled for kerosene license. The petitioners also had deposited the amount as per the challan and only procedure of issuance of formal license had remained. All these years, the petitioners were distributing the kerosene, the Respondents be directed to issue license to the petitioners for distribution of kerosene.

Learned A.G.P states that now the parties would be governed by the Government Resolution dated 3.11.2007 and

further states that the said Government Resolution has been upheld by the Apex Court. As per Government Resolution dated 3.11.2007, earlier licenses are protected. It appears that the petitioners could not get the licenses for distribution of kerosene till date of issuance of Government Resolution dated 3.11.2007. 4.

In light of that, the request of petitioners can not be considered. The Writ Petition stands disposed of. Rule discharged. No costs.
