In an affidavit-in-reply presented on behalf of respondents, it is stated that respondent no. 2 will consider the proposal of petitioner for according approval in accordance with the Government policy and on its own merit and will take decision expeditiously. 2.

In view of the statement made, the grievance raised by petitioner in the instant petition stands substantially redressed. Respondent no. 2 is directed to take decision on the proposal as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from today and it is accordingly directed. Writ petition stands disposed of. It is desirable that the Education Officer shall hear the representative of petitioner no. 1 - institution before taking final decision.
