The petitioner seeks limited prayer against the Education Officer to decide the pending application of the petitioner dated 04.03.2014 claiming appointment on compassionate ground.

The petitioner has relied on the Government Resolution dated 24.08.2018.

As limited relief is sought, we are not entering into merits of the matter. The Education Officer shall

( 2 ) wp4881.14 decide the pending application of the petitioner on its own merits in accordance with the policy and the Government Resolutions issued from time to time, on its own merits, preferably within six months. The petitioner may represent himself before the Education Officer and produce all the relevant Government Resolutions and instructions on which he relies.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
