Mr. Yawalkar, learned counsel for the petitioner relies on the Government Resolution dated 16th May, 2005, to submit that the petitioner is entitled for regularization as he was working for more than 15 to 20 years on Class - IV post. The learned counsel submits that today there are 10 posts vacant with the respondent and as per Government Resolution dated 16th May, 2005, the petitioner's case for regularization is required to be considered by the Municipal Council.

We have heard Mr. Deshmukh, learned for the respondent. 3.
Considering the time lag and the earlier proceedings, we are not inclined to entertain the writ petition. It is for the Municipal Council to consider the Government Resolution dated 16th May, 2005, and take steps as may be permissible in law. In case the petitioner approached the Municipal Council, the Municipal Council may take appropriate decision on the application that would be given by the petitioner considering all the relevant aspects of the matter.
