It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that validation proceeding in respect of caste claim of petitioner No. 1 is pending since year 2001 and that of petitioner No. 2 is pending since year 2017.

The petitioner No. 2 is a student.

Considering the above and the statement of learned counsel for the petitioners that vigilance is also conducted but report is not submitted, we pass the following order.

ORDER

(i) Petitioners shall appear before the Committee on

( 2 ) wp6780.21.odt 05/07/2021.

(ii) In case the validation proceedings are pending, the Committee shall decide the validation proceedings preferably within four months from the date of appearance of the petitioners.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
