The petitioners are seeking Encouragement Allowance in light of the policy pronounced by the Government Resolution dated 05.02.1999 and subsequent government resolutions. Their representations have been pending with respondent No. 4 - the Additional Commissioner, Tribal Development Department. 2.

The Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.4 - the Additional Commissioner, Tribal Development Department to consider the petitioners' representations (Exhibit - 'D') onward, in accordance with the policy of the Government, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within six weeks and if at all, any of the petitioners are found entitled to have the benefit, the actual benefit shall be extended to them within eight weeks thereafter.
