This is yet another example of abuse of the Writ Jurisdiction by a litigant.

The compensation award is delivered on 16.03.2020. On 05.05.2020, in less than 50 days, this petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus to the authority on the ground that the authority is not exercising the power duly vested in it by law. The very purpose of a writ of mandamus is being diluted by filing of such petitions by the litigant who did not have the patience to wait for sometime and watch whether, the authorities are

*2* 62wp8238o22 implementing the order or whether, they are deliberately sitting over the file and delaying the matter.

In matters of depositing and disbursing the amounts, there are several factors which decide the period within which the amounts can be deposited and the compensation can be disbursed. Entertaining a writ petition in the facts recorded above, would amount to abuse of the writ jurisdiction. 4.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
