I have heard Mr.Bachate, the AGP and Mr.Nikam, learned Advocates for the petitioners, respondent No.1 / State and respondent No.2 respectively.

The sole prayer clause "B" that deserves consideration today after a passage of about 6 years of the pendency of this petition, is as follows :- "By way of writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in the like nature, the Hon'ble High Court may kindly direct the respondent No.1 and 3 to decide the proposals of the petitioners and similarly situated employees for interse khs/Jan.2016/4680-d
District Transfers as per provisions of Maharashtra Zilla Parishad District Services (Recruitment) Rules 1967." 3.
Due to the passage of time, I am not required to consider the entire submissions of the petitioners and prayer clause "C" set out in the petition.

In the light of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to decide the proposal for Interse District Transfer concerning the petitioners herein, in the light of the letter dated 05/06/2006 issued by the Desk Officer, Government of Maharashtra and addressed to respondent No.3 / Chief Executive Officer, if still not decided. The said proposal shall be decided within a period of 3 (three) months, on its own merits and in accordance with the Government Resolutions / Rules, as may be applicable. 5.
If the said proposal concerning the petitioners has already been decided, respondent No.3 shall convey the order / decision to the petitioners and in the event the petitioners have any grievance thereafter, they would be at liberty to voice their grievance as per the legal remedies available.
