Mr.Thombre, learned counsel submits that Competent Authority-Commissioner, Physically handicapped has vide order dated 20.5.2013, directed the Respondent Nos.5 and 4 to take decision considering the Government Resolution and the provisions of The Persons With Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995. The learned counsel submits that inspite of orders passed by the Competent Authority, as yet no decision has been taken. Even representation is given on 29.1.2014.

The learned counsel appearing for Respondent Nos.3 to 6 submits that the authority shall take decision pursuant to the orders passed by the Competent Authority expeditiously. 4.

The order passed by the Competent Authority dated 20.5.2013 (Exh.P) has become final. It does not appear that the Respondents have challenged the said order. In light of that the Respondents were duty bound to implement the said order considering the provisions of The Persons With Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 and the relevant Government Resolutions and pass orders in tune with the same.

The Respondent authority shall take decision pursuant to the order of the authority dated 20.5.2013 expeditiously and within three (3) months from the date of this order. 6.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
