Learned counsel for the respondents placed reliance upon the judgment of the Honourable Apex Court in the matter of Gurudassingh Nawoosingh Panjawani Vs. State of Maharashtra [2015 AIR SCW 627], to contend that the learned Division Bench of this Court had taken a view in a Letters Patent Appeal concluding that a second revision under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code confers jurisdiction on the State Government. Learned counsel for the petitioners, therefore, submits that the petitioners would avail of the remedy of revision under Section 257 of the Code and the time spent in this Court may be considered as a good ground for condonation of delay, if any. 2.
