Since the learned Advocate Shri Adwant is on the panel of the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited, and considering a short issue involved in this Petition, we requested Shri Adwant to cause his appearance. Today he has appeared via virtual mode.

The issue is as regards the compliance of the law laid down by the Full Bench of this Court in Om Bhagwanrao Anjanwad Vs. State of Maharashtra and others - 2022 (4) Mh.L.J. 723.

The validity certificate of the Petitioner is dated 25.01.2022. She has approached this Court in view of the communication dated 29.04.2024 from the employer, directing her to tender her validity certificate or face removal from compassionate employment.

We have perused a recent communication issued by the Respondent Company dated 09.05.2024, wherein, it is stated that those dependents who have received a validity certificate, would be continued in compassionate employment.

In view of the above, the learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the apprehension of the Petitioner is put to rest, since she has a validity certificate dated 25.01.2022 and the Petitioner, therefore, desires to withdraw this Petition. 6.
