Applicants are seeking condonation of delay of 2040 days in preferring Cross-objection.

For the reasons stated in the application, delay is sought to be condoned. It is further contended that First Appeals preferred by the Acquiring Body are still pending.

Learned AGP opposes the application. It is submitted that no proper reasons are assigned for condoning delay. 4.

First Appeals preferred by the Respondent are yet to be decided on merits. Applicants are ready to forgo interest and statutory benefits for the delayed period. The practical approach is to

Civil Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause 'B' on condition that Applicants shall not be entitled to interest and statutory benefits for the delayed period, in case they succeed in their Cross-objection.
