DATE : 27/09/2017 PER COURT :- The learned counsel submits that the validation proceeding in respect of caste claim of the petitioner is pending with the respondent no.2 committee. As the said proceeding is pending and validity is not granted, respondents 3 and 4 are not declaring the result of the petitioner's second year B.E. (Mech) course.

2] We have heard learned AGP for respondents 1 to 3. 3] The respondent no.2 committee shall decide validation proceeding in respect of caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within eight months. The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the said proceeding.

4] In case petitioner is otherwise eligible, then the result of the petitioner's second year B.E. (Mech) course shall not be withheld

-2only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. After declaration of result, if the petitioner is otherwise eligible, then his admission to the next year shall not be refused only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. Ofcourse, the degree certificate shall not be issued unless the validity certificate is produced.

5] Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
