The only prayer which is pressed before us by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is in the nature of direction to decide the representation dated 18.05.2017. In that representation, the petitioner has requested for grant of compassionate appointment on the post of Assistant Town Planner or Town Planning Assistant. The petitioner has been granted compassionate appointment on the post of Draftsman and it is his case that he does not possess the qualification of the post of Draftsman but possesses the qualifications of the post of Assistant Town Planner or Town Planning Assistant. Therefore he has raised objection to grant of appointment on the post of Draftsman.

We direct the respondent No.2 to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner dated 18.05.2017 within a period of four months from today.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
