The Petitioner has appeared through Video Conferencing. He submits that, this Court by order dated 18.03.2024, directed the Superintendent of Police i.e. Respondent No. 1, to consider and decide the Application of the Petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, and in any case within a period of one week. He submits that the said decision has not been taken within the stipulated period and, therefore, he has approached this Court by filing this Contempt Petition. 2.

Learned AGP appearing for Respondents submits that the directions have been complied with, however, there was some delay in deciding the representation of the Petitioner and also in communicating the same. He submits that Respondent No. 2, the concerned authority,

We have gone through the said affidavit-in-reply. 4.

We accept the unconditional apology and since the directions of this Court have been complied with, we dispose of the Contempt Petition.
