The petitioners have tendered on record a Government Resolution issued on 26/11/2014, whereunder the directions have been issued to the Government Departments to award the contracts for an amount above Rs.3,00,000/- by adopting e-tender method. Learned A.G.P. appearing for the State on instructions informs that the directions issued under Government Resolution dated 26/11/2014 would be strictly adhered to and henceforth, tender works would be

-2allotted for an amount above Rs.3,00,000/- by adopting e-tender procedure as directed under the Government policy. 2.

The another grievance raised by the petitioners in the instant petition is in respect of tendering of amount in cash to the contractors. It is informed by learned A.G.P. that so far as Latur Division is concerned, only in four cases it was noticed that the amount has been disbursed in cash. Suitable direction has been issued for initiation of departmental inquiry and departmental inquiry has been initiated against erring officer.

So far as instances noticed in other Divisions are concerned, it would be responsibility of respondent No. 6 to take steps and issue instructions wherever such irregularities are noticed. So far as rest of the grievance raised by the petitioners in the instant petition is concerned, it would be open for the petitioners to tender appropriate representation/complaint to respondent No. 6 within period of four weeks from today. Respondent No. 6 shall after receipt of the complaint/representation from the petitioners may take appropriate measures for redressal of grievances as expeditiously as possible, preferably within period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of representation.

With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.

The petitioners have deposited an amount of Rs.50,000/- in compliance of the directions issued by this Court. Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners on instructions graciously agrees to donate sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) to the Library, High Court Bar Association, Bench Aurangabad. In this view of the matter, office is directed to remit sum of Rs.10,000/- to the account of Library, High Court Bar Association, Bench Aurangabad and balance amount of Rs. 40,000/- shall be refunded to the petitioners.
