The petitioner is under trial prisoner who has moved the application from Jail aggrieved by the fact that without passing any order on his applications, which he has filed before the Sessions Court during trial, the trial is proceeding.

The prayer of the petitioner seems innocuous. If he has filed certain applications pending trial, irrespective of their maintainability or otherwise, it is expected that some orders are passed on the applications without which permitting the trial to proceed would be injudicious. 1/2

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the trial court to pass appropriate orders on the applications filed by the petitioner, if those have not been already passed, and thereafter, to proceed with further trial. 5.
