Pursuant to the directions issued by this Court on 14/03/2017, the Deputy Collector has passed award on 05/12/2022. However, the Executive Engineer i.e. the acquiring body has challenged the said award by filing Writ Petition No.11617/2024, wherein learned Single Judge of this Court has directed that, "in the meantime no steps shall be taken pursuant to the impugned judgment and award". Since the respondents have complied with the part of directions and the award is challenged before this Court and stay is granted, the remaining part of the order could not be complied with.

In this view of the matter, contempt petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file contempt petition again after the decision in writ petition, if their grievance survives. (SANDIPKUMAR C. MORE, J.) (NITIN B. SURYAWANSHI, J.) SVH
