1] On 19.1.2016, the learned Advocate for the petitioner, on instructions, had stated that the proposal for regularizing the services of the respondent alongwith several other similarly situated persons dated 21.7.2014 was submitted and the respondent herein has been regularized.

2] Today, the learned Advocate submits the decision of

WP 10559/15 - 2 - the State Government dated 16.11.2015, marked as Exhibit X for identification, and the order issued by the petitioner - University dated 8.12.2015, which is marked as Exhibit Y for identification.

3] The learned Advocate for the petitioner, therefore, submits that in the light of the documents (Exhibits X & Y), the respondent has been regularized in service as is evident from the fact that his name appears in the State list at Sr.No.179 and at Sr.No.166 in the list of the University.

4] He, therefore, submits on instructions that this petition can be disposed of in terms of Exhibits X & Y. 5] In the light of the above, this petition is disposed of in terms of Exhibits X & Y. Needless to state, insofar as the retiral benefits of the respondent are concerned, he is at liberty to resort to available legal remedies.
