Heard advocate Mr. Nirmal learned counsel appearing for the applicants and Mrs. M.A. Deshpande learned AGP appearing for non-applicant nos.1 and 2 in both the applications. None appeared for non-applicant no.3. 2.

The applicants prayed for condonation of delay of 224 days caused for lodging the appeals on the ground that due to their unsound financial capacity, they could not approach this Court within the stipulated period and they are having good case on merit. The non-applicant nos.1 and 2 have not seriously objected for condonation of delay. Therefore, considering the nature of claim, it would be just and proper to condone the delay of 224 days caused while lodging the appeals, however, the applicants shall not claim

( 2 ) 927 ca 13232.17 interest for the delayed period. Accordingly, I proceed to pass the following order:

ORDER

I) The applications for condonation of delay are hereby allowed. II) The delay of 224 days is hereby condoned. The applicants will not be entitled for the interest on the delayed period. III) The Registry is directed to register the first appeals and place it before the Court for further action.
