The petitioners are aggrieved by the order passed by the State Government, whereby it has stayed implementation of the order passed by the Divisional Commissioner under section 39(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, 1958 (for short, "the Act"), disqualifying the respondent - Sarpanch, pending appeal preferred under section 39(3) of the Act. 2.

As per the directions contained in order dated 10 June 2022, learned AGP makes a statement that the appeal under section 39(3) of the Act would be decided within six weeks from today. 3.

Learned advocate for the petitioners, therefore, submits that the petition be disposed of in view of the statement made herein-above. 4.

Writ petition is disposed of.
