CORAM : R.M.BORDE AND S.M.GAVHANE, JJ.

DATE : 23rd August, 2017.

P.C. :

This Court, by an interim order dated 28.04.2017, permitted the petitioner to appear for the examination and accordingly the petitioner did appear for examination. However, as a result of her failure to submit validity certificate, RespondentUniversity has not yet declared result of the examination. The petitioner contends that by virtue of order passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.2455 of 2017 decided on 22.02.2017, the Scrutiny Committee has been directed to take decision on the proposal tendered by the petitioner, within a period of one year. The petitioner contends that in pursuance to the directions issued by this Court in aforesaid writ petition, she has obtained corrected copy of the tribe certificate and submitted a proposal to the Scrutiny Committee for verification thereof.

{2} wp583817.odt In view of above, no directions are issued to the Scrutiny Committee for expeditious disposal of the tribe claim. The ends of justice would be met if Respondent No.4-University is directed to declare result of the petitioner forthwith; and it is accordingly directed. The petitioner shall be permitted to prosecute further studies subject to outcome of the tribe claim pending with the Scrutiny Committee.

With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
