In each of these matters, the scrutiny committees were directed to dispose of the proceedings before them in a time bound manner. The time as stipulated has expired. The proceedings have yet not been disposed of and for varied reasons.

On perusal of these civil applications, we are of the firm opinion that the committees cannot place, forward lame excuses and of the nature found in these applications and such stereotype applications therefore will not be granted any further.

At the request of learned A.G.P. who states that he will impress upon the committees that they must expedite their work, we grant an extension of two months. No further extensions shall be granted. It is only as an exception that we are not imposing costs. The time of extension to begin to run from today.
