The Petitioner is a senior citizen, 75 years of age, who has put forth prayer clauses (B) and (C) as under :- "B] Issue Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, order or directions in the like nature, directing the Respondents, particularly Respondent No. 2 to decide the application dated 19.04.2022 submitted by the petitioner, pending before it, at the earliest, in a time bound manner, preferably within the time period of one month from the date of order passed by this Hon'ble Court.

C] Issue Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ in the like nature thereby directing Respondent No. 3 authority to take the necessary actions with respect to facilitate speedy disposal of petitioner's application dated 19.04.2022 pending in the office of Respondent no. 2."

The learned Advocate representing the Petitioner submits in the light of the Government Resolution dated 31/05/2017 that, the Petitioner has already appeared before the statutory committee. Reports which were called for from various authorities, have also been received. The Committee has to peruse these reports and after following the procedure, has to pass an order.

The learned A.G.P. representing Respondent Nos.1 and 2 submits that, the Committee would decide the claim of the Petitioner within the time line, as may be granted by this Court. 4.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off, by directing Respondent No.2 to decide the claim of the Petitioner within 60 days from today. The decision that would be arrived at, shall be communicated to the Petitioner within 15 days. (Y. G. KHOBRAGADE, J.) (RAVINDRA V. GHUGE, J.) sjk
