The petition can be disposed of by directing the Industrial Court to decide the Revision ULP No. 17 of 2018. 2.

In the present case, the petitioner had challenged the order of issuance of show cause notice by the respondents by way of Complaint ULP No. 70 of 2017. In the said complaint an application under Exhibit U-2 came to be rejected as against which Revision ULP No. 17 of 2018 came to be filed. By order dated 17th April, 2019, the application for extension of status quo was rejected. Subsequently, by order of 25th April, 2019 this Court directed the order of status quo operating in the matter to remain in operation till 17th June, 2019 i. e. the date of listing of matter by the regular court.

Considering that the status quo has been continued by the parties, the petition is disposed of by directing the Industrial Court to decide the Revision ULP No. 17 of 2018, expeditiously and in any event within a period of eight (08) weeks from today. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.

Needless to state that as parties have maintained status quo till date, the status quo to continue till the decision of the Revision ULP No. 17 of 2018.
