We have heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner and the learned AGP on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 and 2. 2.

We are given to understand that the petitioner would be undergoing NEET-Exam on 13/09/2020. He belongs to the Scheduled Tribe Category and has already moved his proposal on 15/04/2019 before respondent No.2 for seeking validation of his claim to the Mannervarlu Scheduled Tribe. He informs that the vigilance enquiry is still not complete. He needs the validity certificate by 30/09/2020, as the admission process would commence after 30/09/2020. He further submits that the Hon'ble khs/August 2020/13673

- 2 - Apex Court has recently ruled that the NEET Exam would not be postponed.

The learned AGP submits that almost 1000 proposals are pending with respondent No.2. Though there is a special drive for clearing such proposals, especially of the students, it is difficult to complete the process on or before 30/09/2020. This submission is made on the basis of the instructions received from an Authority representing respondent No.2, who is present in the Court. 4.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. We expect respondent No.2 to exert and endeavour to decide the claim of the petitioner on or before 30/09/2020. In the event, respondent No.2 is unable to do so, we grant liberty to the petitioner to approach us for the redressal of his grievance.
