It is an admitted position that the appeal filed by the petitioner is pending before respondent No. 2 - the District Superintendent of Land Record.

It is to be noted that the appeal was filed on 03.02.2025, and the present writ petition has been filed within two months, in April - 2025, seeking a direction to the said appellate authority to decide the appeal.

As noted in similar matters earlier, there is a growing tendency to make a beeline to this bench of the High Court by filing such writ 1/2

937 WP NO. 8017 OF 2025 petitions repeatedly, asking for directions to appellate authorities or concerned authorities for deciding appeals / representations / proposals / applications within a stipulated period of time. 4.

Such petitions, being filed in large numbers, are clogging the already heavy docket of this bench of the High Court, with the result that genuine matters which require attention of the Court for deciding important questions of law and addressing the grievances of unfortunate litigants has taken a back seat.

The Writ Petition is DISMISSED.
