Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner and the learned AGP. Though several prayers are being made which are 1/2
914.WP.5836.24.odt apparently the consequential reliefs to the main prayer, whereby, he has been seeking a direction against the Education Officer (Secondary) for considering the proposal forwarded by the Management to him for grant of approval to petitioner's appointment to the post of Headmaster being the senior most one, about which according to the petitioner, he has never been informed anything by the Education Officer. 2.
Independent of the power and jurisdiction of the Education Officer (Secondary) in the light of the objections allegedly being raised by some other stake holders to the appointment of the petitioner to the post of Headmaster, the Education Officer will have to take some decision and communicate it to the Headmaster/Management.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent - Education Officer (Secondary), Osmanabad to take appropriate decision on the proposal dated 05.11.2020 (Exhibit-I) received by his office, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within six weeks.
