Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Possession of petitioner's land is claimed to have been taken on 19-01-1992 by private negotiation in the wake of project of construction of percolation tank no. 10 village Nivali. Thereafter, notification under section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act had been issued on 27-05-1993 and subsequently, award dated 02-04-1997 had been passed.

Land acquisition reference ensued and award amount underwent change.

2 WP - 317-2017 3.

Several representations had been filed on behalf of the persons for rental compensation as possession of land had been taken over before the land acquisition proceedings had started. Learned counsel for petitioner draws attention to that representations in this respect are still awaiting response from the other side.

In view of aforesaid, we deem it appropriate that representations on behalf of petitioner, if any, pending, same be responded to as early as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of writ of this order. 5.

Writ petition is disposed of.
