The learned Additional Government Pleader for respondent Nos. 1 to 4 states that, for promotion to the post of Deputy Education Officer fresh rules are published on 05th July, 2016. The earlier rules of the year 2013 are no more in existence. 2.

It appears that, the petition is based on earlier rules. In view of that, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioners to take up appropriate steps, if they are so aggrieved with the fresh rules. No costs.
