1] Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. 2] Apparently, the petitioners were appointed as part time Librarians in the institution of the respondent no.3 and according to the petitioners, the respondent no.3 has 460 schools run by them.
Though the appointments were made in the year 1995, the petitioners are continued as part time Librarians. It is their further case that in the year 2012, certain regular posts of Librarians fell vacant and the petitioners are eligible to be appointed as full time Librarians. It is also contended that the management, as a matter of fact,
WP 8154/17 - 2 - has already forwarded the recommendations way back in 2015 through communications dated 11.7.2015, 4.9.2015, apart from representation of the year 2012, but till date, the same are kept pending with the concerned department. Therefore, the petitioners are before this Court.
3] The respondent no.3 is not yet served with notice since the respondent no.3 has no grievance against the petitioners as they have already recommended the names of the petitioners. Hence, we dispense with the notice to the respondent no.3.
4] We direct the respondent no.2 to consider the recommendations of the respondent no.3 - management, referred to in the petition, and proceed with the matter by taking a final call on the representations strictly adhering to the procedure and the requirements contemplated for such appointments, within a period of three months from today.
5] The petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
