The petitioners seek quashing and setting aside of the impugned transfer order dated 21.03.2023 generated by the 'Teachers Transfer Management System', a mechanism introduced through an outsourced software company. It is contended that prior to the impugned transfer order, these petitioners were within 30 kms. of their spouses. With the proposed transfers, they would be almost 160 kms. away from their spouses.

The learned advocate representing the Zilla Parishad opposes the petition contending that the transfers are effected in the light of the Government Resolution dated 07th April, 2021. He further submits that, if at all the representations of the petitioners are to be considered, the same would be considered within the in terms of the said Government Resolution.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. We expect the Zilla Parishad to deal with the representations of the petitioners on their own merits and in the light of the Government Resolution dated 07th April, 2021, on or before 31st May, 2023.
