The learned counsel for the applicant would submit that in view of the liberty granted by this Court by its order dated 5th may, 2022, the appeal was preferred before the Sub Divisional Officer on 9th May, 2022. However the appeal was not scrutinized. Hence the effect of the order passed by this Court dated 5th May, 2022 granting stay to the impugned order for a period of two weeks is over. The petitioner has tried his level best to reach the matter before the Sub Division Officer, Kannad but he was not available. He has apprehension that if protection granted is not extended further, the very purpose of the appeal would be frustrated. 2.

Believing the statement made by the learned counsel for the applicant before the Court, the impugned order is stayed for a period of further two weeks from today. With this direction, the application stands disposed of.
