The petitioners, who applied to respondent No. 2 - competent authority under the Maharashtra Act No. XXIII of 2001, are awaiting a decision on their application submitted on 13.03.2024 (Exhibit - 'A') for issuance of 'Koli Mahadev (29)' scheduled tribe certificate.

The Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No. 2 - the Sub-Divisional Officer to consider the petitioners' applications (Exhibit - 'A') on its own merits and decide it finally, as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, within three weeks.
