The petitioners claim to have belonged to Koli Mahadev - Scheduled Tribe. Their tribe certificates were subjected to scrutiny. The respondent/Scrutiny Committee declined to grant them validity certificates. The petitioners are therefore before us. 2.

Since the real brother of the petitioner (Writ Petition No.6015 of 2025) and cousin of the petitioners (Writ Petition Nos.5983 of 2025 and 5995 of 2025) have been granted validity certificate vide order dated 03.09.2025 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.12630 of 2024, the only course open for us is to grant validity certificates to the petitioners on the very terms and conditions.

In result, the petition succeeds. Hence, the following order :

ORDER

(i) Writ Petitions are partly allowed.

(ii) The impugned order dated 17.04.2025, passed by the respondent/Scrutiny Committee is quashed and set aside. (iii) The respondent/Scrutiny Committee shall issue tribe validity certificate to the petitioners as belonging to Koli Mahadev - Scheduled Tribe forthwith.

(iv) The said validity certificates shall be co-terminus with the validity certificates issued in favour of real brother and cousin of the petitioners.

(v) Writ Petitions stand disposed of.
