In this petition, on 06.05.2025, this Court granted interim relief in terms of prayer clause "C", as a consequence of which one vacancy for the Ph.D. program in Computer Engineering remained vacant. Respondent No. 2, i.e., the affected party, has been served but has chosen not to appear before this Court.

The learned counsel appearing for Respondent No.1 University submits that it was a mistake on the part of the

(( 2 )) 25-WP-6011-2025 University, which led to the grievance of the Petitioner. A copy of communication dated 10.07.2025 sent by the Deputy Registrar of Ph.D. Department of Respondent No.1 University is tendered, wherein it is stated that having realised the mistake, the Respondent University is ready to give admission to the Petitioner for Ph.D. course in Computer Engineering. The copy of the said communication is taken on record and marked as "X" for identification. 3.

In the light of said communication, the grievance of the Petitioner stands satisfied, inasmuch as, the Respondent University is ready to give him admission in the course of his choice. 4.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of, as nothing survives in the matter. Pending Applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
