The learned Advocate for the Petitioners placed on record a compilation of 11 documents along with Circular No. 28/2023, dated 12.10.2023. The same is marked as "X" for identification. It is further submitted, on instructions, that the grievances of the Petitioners have been redressed by the compilation 'X' and this Petition may be disposed off.

Shri. Shahane, learned Advocate, makes a request that as MSRTC has agreed to disburse the dues in 36 equated monthly installments, the duration of the said installments may be reduced.

The learned Advocate for the MSRTC opposes the said request on the ground that MSRTC is in financial difficulties. It is, however, conceded as Shri. Shahane has pointed out that in case of death of a person, such legal dues are paid lump sum in one stroke by the MSRTC.

As such, considering the above factors, we direct the MSRTC to clear the dues of the Petitioners in 24 equated monthly installments, beginning from June, 2024 if such payment has not already commenced. 5.

In view of the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed off, on instructions.
