Heard Shri Chavan learned Amicus Curiae. Shri Kagne, learned APP for the State submits, on instructions, that seven witnesses have been examined. He further states that he has taken instructions from the investigating officer and according to the investigating officer trial is likely to be concluded within a period of four months.

In this view of the matter, application for interim bail does not survive. Moreover no case is made out for interim bail. Report of the Superintendent, Prison, shows that general

ba686.21 condition of the applicant is good. Thus, it will be appropriate if direction is given to the trial Court to conclude the trial within four months.

In this view of the matter, learned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within four months from the date of receipt of writ from this Court.

Application is disposed of with aforesaid directions. 5.

Fees of Shri Chavan, learned Amicus Curiae is quantified at Rs.5,000/-.
