The learned counsel Mr. Mundhe appearing for respondent No.2 Municipal Council has submitted an affidavit and has stated that it was only due to COVID-19 pandemic situation that the pensionary benefits could not be released and disbursed in favour of the pensioners. The learned counsel further submits that by 30th September 2022 the respondent No.2 would pay all pensionary benefits to the petitioner. Since the affidavit is filed on solemn affirmation that we are taking assurance of the respondent No.2 and we hope they will fulfill the same within stipulated time. 2.
