This petition is thoroughly misconceived as following relief is sought in terms of prayer clause-B:

"B.

By issued of writ of mandamus or any appropriate writ and order or direction to the respondent no.1,2, 3 & 4 to take mutation entry in revenue record of right in the 7/12 extract in the ownership column and restrain the respondent no.5 their agent, servant or anybody acting behalf of then by alienating, transferring or create any third-party interest over the suit property in the interest of justice."

It appears that the provisions of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, are completely sought to be given a go-bye to approach this Court and to seek such relief.

The petition is dismissed in the light of alternative efficacious remedy available to the Petitioners under the provisions of the aforesaid Code. There is a whole machinery provided under the Code for redressal of such grievances along with the avenues of appeals and revisions. 4.

Hence the Petition is dismissed. The Petitioners may take such steps as advised under the aforesaid Code. If such steps are taken, the grievance raised by the Petitioners be decided strictly in accordance with law.
