In this Criminal Application, the challenge is to the F.I.R. No.368/2023 lodged with Kranti Chowk Police Station, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar for the offences punishable under

Sections 498-A, 376(2)(n), 377, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as the subsequent filing of charge sheet and Sessions Case No.403/2024, pending before the District Judge-6 and Additional Sessions Judge, Aurangabad.

We have heard learned counsel for the applicants as well as the learned counsel for respondent No.2. Our attention has been invited to the compromise arrived at between the applicants and the respondent No.2, by which it has been decided to settle the matter amicably. 4.

Considering the fact that the offences are punishable under Section 498-A and other allied Sections, we are inclined to allow this Criminal Application in the light of the said compromise. We, therefore, pass the following order :

O R D E R

(i) The Criminal Application is allowed.

(ii) The F.I.R. No.368/2023 lodged with Kranti Chowk Police Station, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar for the offences

punishable under Sections 498-A, 376(2)(n), 377, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as the subsequent filing of charge sheet and Sessions Case No.403/2024, pending before the District Judge-6 and Additional Sessions Judge, Aurangabad are hereby quashed and set aside.
