The petitioner is seeking compensation under the National Agriculture Insurance Scheme for the Kharip crop of the year 2006 in tune with the compensation granted to the farmers of Parli Vaijnath taluka District Beed and Renapur taluka Dist. Latur.

It is contended by respondent that, compensation is distributed taluka wise.

The amount of compensation has to be based on various factors. It is for the authorities to cull out the same. The petitioner has claimed compensation under the National Agriculture Insurance Scheme for Kharip crop of the year 2006, due to passage of time now the investigation cannot be made about the extent of loss and damage. However, it is made clear that, we have not considered the merits of the contention of either party. The writ petition is disposed of. Rule discharged. No costs.
