This is a criminal writ petition seeking challenge to the order passed by the District Magistrate detaining him under the provisions of section 3(1) of the Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Slumlords, Bootleggers Drug-offenders, Dangerous Persons and Video Pirates Act, 1981 (MPDA Act).

Learned APP, on the instructions, submits that pursuant to the opinion expressed by the Advisory Board, holidng that there are no sufficient cause. The petititoner has been released from the Nasik Central Prison yesterday. Learned advocate for the petitioner admits the fact. 3.
