The petitioners had earlier filed writ petitions against orders canceling their sports
2 wp 7005.2021+ certificates bearing Writ Petition Nos. 7918 of 2020, 7914 of 2020 and 7917 of 2020 respectively. This Court under order dated 03.12.2020 disposed of the writ petitions and directions were issued to the respondents that, respondents shall withdraw the respective orders. Subsequently, again the sports certificates of the petitioners are cancelled. The petitioners filed Writ Petition No. 6503 of 2021. This Court under order dated 11.06.2021 disposed of the writ petitions directing the petitioners to avail alternate remedy and granted protection. The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that, the petitioners have filed the Appeals before the Appellate Authority along with the Stay Petitions, but the same are not decided.

In fact, the respondents ought to have decided the stay petitions atleast. We continue the protection granted under order dated 11.06.2021 in Writ Petition No. 6503 of 2021 filed by the petitioners till disposal of the Appeals.

It is made clear that, the said protection will not continue and shall stand vacated in case the Appeals of the petitioners are dismissed. 4.
