The validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner is pending with respondent No.4 since 2013. According to the learned counsel, respondent No.4 be directed to decide the same expeditiously. Vide interim order passed by this Court, the petitioner was allowed to appear for B.A.M.S. first year examination. 2.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has appeared for first year B.A.M.S. examination, however, the result is not yet declared. Considering the above, we pass the following order:-

Respondent No.4 shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within nine months. The petitioner shall co-operate in expeditious disposal of the said claim. The petitioner shall appear before respondent No.4 on 1.7.2015.

Respondent No.2 shall not withhold the result of the petitioner's examination only on the ground that validation proceedings are pending.
