By way of this petition, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 15.02.2012, passed by respondent - Scrutiny Committee, refusing to validate the petitioner's claim for `Thakur', Scheduled Tribe. The Committee has refused to validate the claim only on the ground that the caste certificate was not obtained from the competent authority in the proper format. The Committee has observed in the impugned order that the petitioner has liberty to obtain the caste
14-ca13116.2024 certificate from the competent authority in the proper format and submit it to the competent scrutiny committee for verification. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that now, the petitioner has obtained the caste certificate in the proper format and the same is filed along with Civil Application No.13116 of 2024. The same is dated 28.02.2023, issued by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Shirpur. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already applied to the Caste Scrutiny Committee, at Dhule, for verification of the caste certificate. 4.
In view of the above, the instant Writ Petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the Scrutiny Committee, at Dhule; and demonstrate urgency for taking up the matter out of turn, at the earliest. With these directions, the Civil Application also stands disposed of.
